Graham has more than 30 years of experience within the UK / Swedish / North American construction industry. He has knowledge in all structural design materials including timber, masonry, steel, concrete and glass.
He has extensive modular design experience in Sweden and a good understanding of urban design principles and planning.
His career has seen him work in many different markets including retail, residential, healthcare, high rise, educational, arts, aviation & commercial buildings.
His biggest strengths lie in his expertise in construction management, optimising design to suit buildability and his strong leadership of multidisciplinary design teams.
Senior Project Manager
Graduating as a structural engineer 20 years ago, Karl has gained varied and international experience while working in the building, telecommunications and aviation industries in the UK, Ireland, South East Asia and Sweden.
He is now primarily focused on driving structural design teams and project coordination between the client, architect and other disciplines. He uses his wealth of experience across different industry sectors to bring new solutions to the table not only for the structural design, but for the entire design team.
Principal Structural Engineer
Paul has 8 years of experience as a structural engineer which has seen him design buildings in Australia, New Zealand, UAE, Thailand and Sweden.
He has experience in aviation, commercial, education, health, retail and residential buildings.
He utilises his strong multi-disciplinary knowledge including mechanical systems, facade systems, civil works and environmentally sustainable design to ensure the structural design compliments other disciplines.
His strength lies in his problem solving skills and quick interactive design which allows architects and clients to achieve their designs using innovative structural solutions.
JESPER LIDBERG JENSEN
Jesper has been working in the construction industry for almost a decade. He started out as an assistant project manager on small residential projects where he built up his knowledge of the entire design and construction process.
His role as BIM Specialist sees him operate in the digital project environment, managing structural models in Revit and undertaking full project coordination and construction sequencing in Navisworks.
Jesper is a strong advocate for the collaborative and coordinated environment of BIM and he is leading K-Lab’s push to work in 5D on all projects so that our clients can realise the true benefit of BIM.
Edward has been working as a structural engineer for 4 years. He has worked across a range of projects including airport terminal expansions, residential buildings and industrial buildings. His role at K-Lab sees him take control of the structural design, solving our client’s problems with innovative thinking, undertaking detailed design calculations and following the design through construction with a constant site presence.
Edward has a strong understanding of Swedish norms and standards and uses this knowledge to generate details with our design partners that will result in safe and energy efficient buildings.
Marketing coordinator and Assistant Modeler
Alma has had an interest in the construction and design industry for many years. She uses this passion and knowledge to drive K-Lab’s external presence. Her role at the company is two-fold, she leads K-Lab’s winning work team, creating proposals for our outgoing tenders and constantly searching for new opportunities in the market. She also assists our project teams with Revit modelling and tasks.
Alma’s enthusiastic nature allows the team to focus on project delivery while she gains market knowledge and informs our Managing Director of upcoming projects. Expect her to be in contact with you soon!
Principal Structural Engineer
David has over 12 years structural design experience across a wide variety of sectors including education, residential, commercial, public infrastructure and industrial. Previously he has worked in the UK, Ireland, Denmark and Sweden, and has designed buildings as far afield as the US and China.
Experienced in retrofits, alterations to historical buildings and all forms of new build, he has a strong multi-disciplinary focus. He enjoys collaborating with the design team to understand design drivers and find the optimal solutions for each project.
David has a keen interest in sustainable design and has been involved with several industry wide initiatives to ensure that construction lessens its environmental impact.
